Habitat for Humanity® Volunteer: What’s it all about?
I am a Habitat for Humanity® volunteer in the Flathead Valley of Montana. This short post provides a summary of what it is like to volunteer with this organization, just in case you are interested in doing so. So click on the link below to find out:
- What is a typical day like?
- What should I bring?
- What tools will I have to use?
- What types of jobs might I do?
- Does a volunteer work all year long?
- Do I have to go on top of a roof?
I am not an official spokesperson for Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley, but I do volunteer on a regular basis and these are some of the things I wondered before I signed up.
I am sure Habitat would love to have more volunteers so more homes can be built. So if you have any interest in volunteering on a regular or not so regular basis, you can find more information at https://habitatflathead.org/ or by calling them at 406-257-8800.
Maybe I’ll see you there!!
