The Better Homes & Gardens Rand Realty first quarter 2015 market results have been published for Westchester and Orange Counties as well as the rest of the Hudson Valley NY area. The Orange County NY summary indicates that sales were strong but median prices have decreased, probably due to the change in mix of types of properties being sold.
However, real estate results are extremely localized, and as I reported several weeks ago, the Monroe NY 1Q15 results show increasing prices, not decreasing ones.
