As seen below, the Monroe, NY real estate results are now available for the August 2016 period.
The median sales price in August 2016 continued to move up, with a 1% increase over the previous month of July. Median prices were just about even with the same time last year. Sales prices in 2016 have been trending upward. August is no exception, which remains good news for sellers. Also, these results should help encourage hesitating buyers to get moving.
Regarding sales volume, sales volume remains healthy in the Monroe NY area, with 18 sales in August. Because of the strong volume all year in 2016, inventory has decreased significantly from 148 in April to 107 as of September 1st, 2016.
