Real Estate CBR Defined
I sign my emails with my name (obviously). I follow that with “NY State Licensed Associate Broker, CBR®.” Unless you are an an agent or broker who has already obtained the “CBR” designation, you may not know what that means.
CBR stands for Certified Buyer Representative. Any professional who has those initials after their name has received additional training that focuses on how to best support their buyer client(s) in their hunt for their new home. In other words, a CBR real estate agent is an agent specially trained to professionally represent buyers in their real estate transaction.
The CBR® Certified Buyer Representative designation allows consumers to identify real estate agents who have been trained to be in their corner. Buyers can be sure these agents will represent them in a legal, ethical, and non-adversarial fashion. These agents are armed with the experience and training. They also can manage the forms, disclosures and other documents which allow them unparalleled service to their buyer clients.
If you are looking for a new home in Monroe, NY or the surrounding area, call me on 914-419-0270! You may also email me at kat@thehousekat.com. I stand ready to be your partner in one of the most important purchases you will ever make, that of a new home.

With the current economy downturn profit can be garnered by purchasing real estate while property values are lowered. In a sense, homes, commercial space and land are one of the few investments that one can be guaranteed will not remain diminished in value long term. The reality is there is only so much land to purchase. If you buy some now, someone will have to buy it from you in the future.
